Sarah's Silks hires Chinese seamstresses who work from home, often sitting outside with their children playing nearby. Sarah's Silks offers above-average wages for the seamstresses, as well as access to health insurance as part of their efforts to support healthy families.

The products are then shipped to Sonoma County, California. From there, the women work from home to complete the sewing, ironing and packaging of Sarah's Silks products.
